It's true what they say: with your first child, you take photos every day and fill album after album documenting every single milestone. But by your third child, your camera sits on the shelf, untouched, staring longingly at you while you chase around a toddler and clean the baby food off your third shirt of the day. Fancy photoshoots? I'm just proud of myself if we all survive the day unscathed!
So, as it turns out I skipped right over Eva's two month milestone, and a week before the third I was still debating on whether I had time to take some decent photos. Thankfully, her three-month pics are only a week late!
The first three months of Eva's life have FLOWN by. I'm trying not to panic as I put away clothes she has outgrown and the pack and play, where she has slept in our room until this past week. Now that she is consistently sleeping through the night, she has moved into her own room. (Can I get an amen?!) Her feeding issues are improving; she takes a bottle every four hours during the day, so we are getting to enjoy more waketime with her. She is so close to rolling over, she has started cackling and squealing when she laughs, and greets me with a smile when I get her up from her nap.
Eva enjoys putting her whole fist in her mouth, her pacifier, warm baths, being read or sung to, and talking to her brothers. She dislikes being in her carseat for long periods of time and vaccines. I enjoy EVERYTHING about this baby girl; she is such a delight to our family!
